The Farm
A renewed sense of purpose for a centuries-old farm
Vrymansfontein is a working almond farm with one of the largest orchards in South Africa. It is also one of the oldest farming properties in the Paarl area and has had many faces during its 350-year-old existence. Our reimagination embraces the magic of this property and its magnificent vistas, adding superb wine and food and a joyful celebration of the good life.

A working almond farm with one of the largest orchards in South Africa, Vrymansfrontein is one of the oldest in the Paarl area and dates back to the 17th century. Although the farm has had many faces over the years, it is its current form that we are most proud to share with our visitors. Along with hosting guests at our beautiful new hospitality venue, we look forward to sharing the intricacies of almond farming with visitors, be it at harvest time or when the spring blossoms appear.
